RSV Diagnostic Device
We are now enrolling for a clinical trial evaluating the effectiveness of a diagnostic device for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) causes infections of the lungs and respiratory tract. Most children have been infected with the virus by age 2 but it can also affect older children and adults. In adults and older, healthy children, RSV symptoms are mild and typically mimic the common cold. However, for anyone with a weak immune system, such as n infants, older adults, people with heart and lung disease, RSV infection can be severe or even life-threatening.
