Pediatric Strep Throat Swab
We are now enrolling for a clinical trial evaluating the effectiveness of a gargle specimen for rapid Strep Throat diagnosis in pediatric participants.
Most sore throats are caused by viral illnesses. However, Strep Throat is a bacterial infection in the throat and tonsils caused by bacteria called group A Streptococcus (group A strep).

Our physicians at ERA have partnered with a sponsor who is researching the effectiveness of a rapid gargle test for Strep A. Participants will undergo gargle testing as well as control throat swabs to compare the results of each test.
