Long Acting Insulin Study
For Type 2 Diabetes
Clinical trial evaluating a once-weekly investigational long-acting insulin for adults with type 2 diabetes.
Qualified participants will receive either an investigational medication once weekly or an approved daily long-acting insulin.
Our physicians at Eastside Clinical Research have partnered with a sponsor to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational (not approved for clinical
use) long-acting insulin taken weekly compared to an approved long-acting daily insulin in adults with T2D.
If you join the study, you will have a 50/50 chance of receiving the investigational insulin or the approved
insulin. There is no placebo in this study.
The study will involve up to 35 study visits over the course of about 60 weeks (a little over a year). About half
of these study visits are telehealth visits, which will not require travel. All study-related care and drugs will
be provided at no cost during participation.
Participants enrolled in this new clinical research study receive, free of cost, medication, supplies, medical evaluations and follow ups. Participants will also be compensated for their time.
