Glucose Monitoring Study

 Wearable glucose monitoring device for Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetics

Study participants wear a blood glucose monitor and have twice monthly HbA1c blood draws. 

Our physicians at Eastside Clinical Research have partnered with a sponsor to help gather data on hemoglobin A1c. This data will be used to improve current models and improve the future of diabetes diagnostics and treatments.

 

Participants enrolled in this new clinical research study receive a no-cost blood glucose monitoring device, medical evaluations and blood draws for 6 months. Participants will also be compensated for their time. 

Participant Enrollment Criteria

  • At least 4 years of age

  • Have been diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes

  • Are able to wear a glucose monitoring device on the back of each arm for 6 months. 

  • Can come in twice a month to the Redmond clinic for blood draws.

  • Additional criteria apply

Participants Will Receive

  • Compensation for participation

  • No-cost device, blood tests and study-related medical evaluations under the care of a study physician

  • Snacks and refreshments at visits

Location and Time

  • Initial one-hour visit

  • Twice monthly blood draw and device replacement appointments for 6 months

  • All appointments are in-person at Eastside Research Associates in Redmond, WA
