Director of Operations

Eastside Research Associates is a growing company looking for a motivated Director of Operations to organize and coordinate our non-clinical business operations. You will be the one to ensure that our business is efficient and productive by developing and managing its procedures.

Our company is in early stages, the area of responsibility for this role is very wide and thus requires thorough knowledge of various company processes. The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan many different kinds of operational activities. He/She must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business.

Responsibilities

​

• Liaise with CEO and COO to make decisions for operational activities 

• Implement systems for smooth operations across various departments

• Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation

• Revise and/or formulate company policies and promote their implementation

• Develop and manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors

• Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics

Requirements

​

• Proven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position

• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

• Motivated and creative thinker

• Flexible and willing to wear many hats during the company’s growth stage

• Outstanding communication and people skills

• In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. marketing, finance, customer service etc.)
