Cardiovascular Risk Outcomes Study
For overweight adults
Clinical trial evaluating the efficacy of an oral medication in adults who are overweight.
This medication may help improve morbidity and mortality in individuals who are overweight.
Our physicians at Eastside Clinical Research have partnered with a sponsor to study the effectiveness of an oral medication on the overall health and longevity of individuals who are overweight. This medication, which has been shown in previous studies to reduce weight, is now being studied for its effects on reducing the occurrence of strokes, heart attacks, and other serious medical complications of obesity.
Participants enrolled in this new clinical research study receive, free of cost, either the investigational medication or placebo, medical evaluations and follow ups. Participants will also be compensated for their time.
